After graduating from Douglas College’s creative writing program, I went on to win a mentorship with the Quebec Writers Federation where I developed the manuscript for my debut memoir, This Is My Real Name, which was published by Arsenal Pulp Press in 2021.

I’m currently working on my MFA at the University of British Columbia while living in Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal. I have creative writing experience in personal, academic, and professional realms. My areas of expertise are nonfiction, fiction, and the grey-areas in between. I have a background in a variety of other writing styles including: poetry, comics, writing for children and YA (young adult), magazine and freelance writing, and writing for new media (podcasts, games, online formats).
